Today’s grooming session brought us face-to-fluff with two majestic clouds of joy: Oliver and Lola, a pair of Great Pyrenees whose personalities couldn’t be more different—but whose charm is equally irresistible.

🐶 Meet Lola: The Spunky Tripod Queen

Lola strutted into the van like she owned the place—and honestly, she kind of did. This three-legged wonder didn’t let anything slow her down. With her snowy coat and sparkling eyes, Lola radiated confidence and love. She leaned into every brush stroke, gave kisses mid-bath, and even tried to “help” with the cleanup (read: she stole a towel and made it her throne).
Despite being a tripod, Lola’s spirit is anything but limited. She’s playful, affectionate, and has a way of making you forget she’s missing a limb—because she’s overflowing with personality. Her resilience is inspiring, and her sass? Unmatched.

🐾 Meet Oliver: The Stubborn Softie in a Fluffy Suit

Oliver came in with all the fluff and none of the trust. This big, beautiful boy had nerves wrapped in fur and a strong opinion about the whole grooming situation: “No thanks.”
With the help of some calming medication, we were able to ease him into the process—but let’s be clear, Oliver wasn’t exactly thrilled. He gave me the classic Pyrenees side-eye, planted his paws like tree trunks, and made it known that he was not in the mood for a spa day.
But here’s the thing about stubborn dogs—they’re often just scared underneath it all. So we took our time. No forced cuddles, no rushed brushing. Just quiet respect. He tolerated the bath, begrudgingly accepted the blow dryer, and walked away looking like a freshly fluffed marshmallow.
Oliver didn’t melt into my lap, but he did let me finish the groom—and that, for him, was a win. Sometimes progress is measured in inches, not tail wags.

💬 Final Sniffs & Tail Wags

To Lola: You’re proof that three legs are more than enough to conquer hearts—and grooming vans. Keep strutting, queen.
To Oliver: You didn’t make it easy, but you made it memorable. Your fluff may be regal, but your attitude? Iconic.
Every dog brings their own rhythm to the grooming dance—some twirl, some stomp, and some just sit down and refuse to move. And that’s what makes each day with Vroom Grooms a new adventure. Thanks for letting us be part of yours, Oliver and Lola.
