Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our country—and the loyal dogs who stood beside them. Veterans Day is more than a date on the calendar. It’s a moment to reflect, to thank, and to remember the sacrifices made for our freedom.
As a mobile dog groomer serving Northwest Ohio, I’ve had the privilege of meeting veterans and their beloved pets—some retired service dogs, some faithful companions who offer comfort and joy in civilian life. These bonds are powerful. They remind us that healing, loyalty, and love come in many forms.
