Important Information

THE RULES OF THE ROAD.

By creating a grooming appointment with Vroom Grooms LLC, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

These policies are in place to ensure 5-star safety and quality for every pet we serve.

Section 01

Scheduling & Fees

  • Groom Time & Assessment: Each dog is scheduled for 2 hours for the first groom and assessment. After the first groom, the groomer will determine the time needed for future appointments.
  • Overage Fees: If a groom exceeds the two-hour window by 20–30 minutes, a $50 fee will be applied for each overage period.
  • Behavioral Pricing: If your dog is difficult, fighting, or biting during the groom, you will be charged on the higher end of your dog’s price range.
  • After Hours: Appointments after hours are automatically charged an additional $50, unless otherwise approved by the groomer.
  • Communication: Be available for contact during the groom. All updates, including address changes, must be sent via text. Last-minute changes must be confirmed via text at the time of the 5-day reminder.
  • Cancellations: Please provide 48 hours notice for any changes. For Monday/Tuesday appointments or days following a holiday, changes must be informed by noon on the prior business day. Moving an appointment 3 times or more will result in removal from the schedule.

Section 02

Health & Vaccinations

  • Required Vaccinations: Rabies and DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) are mandatory. Bordetella is highly recommended. Proof of records is required for all new clients and must be updated by 1/1/2026 for existing clients.
  • Vaccination Records: An automatic $50 fee is added for any dog missing vaccination records, and pricing will jump to the next tier for that breed/size.
  • Health Concerns: Vroom Grooms cannot groom dogs with certain medical conditions (fleas, injuries, stitches, etc.). A $50 fee is added if these are found upon arrival.

Section 03

Respectful Conduct Policy

  • Zero-Tolerance: Disrespectful language, aggressive behavior, or hostility will not be tolerated.
  • Right to Refuse: The groomer reserves the right to leave immediately without obligation to continue services if a situation becomes negative or unsafe.

Section 04

Liability & Environment

  • Grooming Environment: The groomer may ask for your assistance or ask you to leave the area to keep the dog calm. For liability reasons, owners are preferred not to be aboard the van.
  • Parking Requirements: Vehicles require 10′ clearance. Low-hanging branches or obstructions must be removed. The van is the size of a church bus; if you have a light-colored driveway, street parking is preferred to avoid liability for fluid leaks.
  • Media Release: Your dog’s name and photos may be used in advertising, social media, and on the website. Employees may wear body cameras/mics for safety.

Section 05

Humanity Over Vanity

  • Stress Management: The groomer will not force a dog to complete a groom if they become too stressed. If extreme anxiety does not improve by the 3rd or 4th groom, services may be discontinued.
  • De-matting Policy: We do not de-mat. If a coat is matted, tangled, or knotted, it will be shaved for the dog’s comfort (“Humanity over Vanity”).
  • Hidden Injuries: Vroom Grooms is not liable for sores, scabs, or injuries hidden under matted fur or hematomas (common in ears) caused by the release of restricted blood flow from matting.
  • Sanitary Shaving: The inside of ears, sanitary areas, and inside of legs are shaved short for hygiene.
  • Ear Plucking & Anal Glands: These services (external only) can sometimes cause more harm than good. If your dog has not previously had these services, the groomer advises against them unless a visible issue is assessed.

Section 06

SMS Communication & Privacy

  • SMS Opt-in: A cell phone number is required. By scheduling, you opt into automated SMS reminders (sent at 5 days and 2 days prior). Phone number, name, and consent records are collected and used for updates, promotional offers, and customer support.
  • Confirmation: You must reply “Yes” to confirm your appointment by 4 PM on the day of the last reminder. The groomer will not arrive for unconfirmed appointments.
  • No-Show Fee: A $50 fee applies to unconfirmed appointments, cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, or if the groomer arrives and you are unavailable.
  • Privacy: Data is not sold or traded but may be shared with service providers for operational purposes. Text “STOP” to opt-out (note: this will terminate grooming services as reminders cannot be sent).
