Every groomer has that one dog who stays with them forever — not because of how they look, but because of how far they’ve come. For Nicole, that dog is Louie, our incredible poodle mix whose journey has been one of the most rewarding honors of her grooming career.

When Louie first arrived, he was unsure, guarded, and deeply uncomfortable with the grooming process. He didn’t trust easily, and for everyone’s safety, he needed a muzzle. Even getting him into the van took creativity — a little coaxing, a little trickery, and a whole lot of patience.

Just trust.

Now Louie walks into the van with confidence. He lets Nicole handle him without fear. He shows zero signs of biting. He knows he’s safe. He knows he’s understood. He knows he’s cared for.
