Payment Due Upon Completion
Just like any other professional service that comes to your home, payment is due in full at the end of the grooming session. Once your dog is finished and we are ready to hand them back to you at your front door, the service is considered complete.
To keep our mobile unit on schedule for our next furry client, we ask that you be prepared to settle the balance as soon as the groom is finished.
Why Mobile Pricing Varies
When you book a mobile groom, you are booking a dedicated time slot where your dog is the sole focus of the groomer. While we provide a base estimate, the final price is determined by the condition of your pet at the time of the appointment(among other variations).
Because we work in a confined, specialized space, certain factors require more time, labor, and resources:
- Coat Condition: Severe matting or impacted undercoats require careful, slow work to ensure your dog’s safety.
- Behavioral Handling: If a pet is particularly anxious or difficult to handle, it requires extra time and specialized care to complete the groom safely.
- Pet Size and Coat Type: The amount of product and time used varies significantly between breeds and individual coat lengths.
Non-Negotiable & Non-Refundable
Because our service is based on the time, travel, and labor already performed, our fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
- Time & Travel: Unlike a stationary salon, we have the added costs of fuel, vehicle maintenance, and travel time to reach you. Once that journey is made and the work is done, those resources have been spent.
- Labor-Based Service: You are paying for the professional expertise and physical labor of the groomer. Because labor cannot be “undone” or returned, we do not offer refunds or price negotiations after the service is rendered.
