When I first started Vroom Grooms LLC, I knew I would be spending my days making dogs look and feel their absolute best. What I didn’t anticipate was just how deeply connected I would become to the families I serve.
Unlike a traditional salon where clients drop off their pets and leave, operating a mobile grooming salon means I come directly to you. Pulling the van into your driveway month after month, year after year, gives me a truly unique window into your lives. Over time, my clients become an extended family, and I get a front-row seat to some of your biggest life transitions.
Of all the milestones I get to witness, there is one that always stands out as an absolute favorite: watching a long-time client move from a rental into a home they finally own.
Pulling Up to a New Address
There is a specific kind of excitement that vibrates through the air when I pull the mobile salon up to a brand-new address for the first time. I have had the privilege of serving clients for years while they lived in apartments or rental houses, saving and planning for the future.
When the day finally comes that they book their grooming appointment at their very own property, it is incredibly rewarding. The pride of homeownership is contagious. I love stepping out of the van and getting the grand tour—whether it’s seeing the freshly painted front porch, admiring the new landscaping, or simply sharing in the sheer joy of a space that is entirely yours to show off.
A New Yard for the Pups
Of course, a new home is a massive milestone for the furry family members, too! Seeing the dogs explore a brand-new, fenced-in backyard that they can run around in freely is just the best. They always seem to know that this new territory is theirs to patrol, play in, and, naturally, roll in right after a fresh groom!
As we continue our grooming routine in your new driveway, it feels like a celebration of all the hard work it took to get there. Whether we are parked outside your first apartment or your forever home here in Bowling Green, the care inside the van stays exactly the same.
