Senior Sweetness & Puppy Love: Meeting Tucker & Myles
There is a beautiful saying in the grooming world that guides everything I do: humanity over vanity. Todayβs absolute stars perfectly capture why that philosophy means the world to me. Meet Tucker and Myles, two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels at completely different stages of life, but both equally capable of melting your heart.

Tucker: The Distinguished Gentleman (14 Years Young)
First up is Tucker. At 14 years old, this handsome boy has earned every single one of his silver hairs. Getting older isn’t always easy, and Tucker is showing his age with some limited mobility and the typical lumps and bumps that come with senior dog hood.
Because of this, today was all about a comfort groom.
When a dog reaches their golden years, achieving a “picture-perfect” standard breed cut takes a backseat to their physical well-being. My priority with Tucker was ensuring he felt safe, supported, and completely at ease throughout his entire session.
- Taking it Slow: We took plenty of breaks, letting him rest his legs whenever he needed.
- Extra Support: Every movement was gentle, making sure not to put pressure on his sensitive spots or sore joints.
- The Result: He left looking clean, feeling refreshed, andβmost importantlyβcompletely unstressed. Grooming senior pups is an honor, and Tucker is the sweetest reminder of why gentle, compassionate care matters so much.

Myles: The Spunky Sweetheart
On the absolute opposite end of the spectrum, we have little Myles! This spunky puppy brought an immediate burst of youthful energy to the day.
Cavalier puppies are known for their affectionate personalities, but Myles takes it to a whole new level. He is as sweet as could be, and honestly, this little guy just completely melted in my hands. Between his puppy dog eyes and his gentle, trusting nature, it was impossible not to fall completely in love. He did absolutely fantastic for his puppy introduction, taking in all the new sights, sounds, and smells like a total champ.
Two Different Stages, One Perfect Pair
Whether itβs providing a steady, supportive hand for a sweet senior like Tucker or building confidence in a wiggly puppy like Myles, days like today are exactly why I love what I do.

Thank you to Tucker and Myles for being the absolute best Dogs of the Day! πΆβ€οΈ
Groomer’s Note: As our pets age, their grooming needs change. If you have a senior pup, always advocate for their comfort over aesthetic perfection. They deserve the extra patience!
