Monty the Maltese mix: Monty is a nervous little
guy who is not much of a fan of the grooming service, but he is super cute. He came in wearing his blue bandana, looked at the tub, and decided that the tub was the enemy today. We worked around it. He left fluffier than he arrived, which is the only metric that matters.
Juliette the Yorkie: Juliette is also a bit of a nervous little lady, but too cute not to cuddle. She is the kind of dog who trembles the whole way through the bath that just makes you want to protect her. That pink and black bandana is the only thing keeping her together, emotionally.
Chelsea the Golden Retriever: Chelsea is just the most perfect fluffy lady ever, and she gives her dog groomer cuteness aggression. Full eye contact, full body wiggle, full tongue out, full lean. She is the friend who is excited to see you, excited to see the table, excited to see the brush, excited to see the water, excited to see the towel. Chelsea is excited to see things. That is her whole deal. I accept the cuteness aggression as the compliment it is.
A Note from the Groomer
Three very different dogs, one very good day. The nervous ones teach you patience, the chaos gremlins teach you to keep your chin out of range, and all three of them remind you why the van is worth driving.
