Happy Thursday, grooming family! Today was one of those days that completely reminds us why we do what we do. From head-over-heels adoration to gentle senior care and a whole lot of terrier attitude, the van was absolutely bursting with personality.
Here are the wonderful pups who made our day on this beautiful June 25th:
Bucky the Cavapoo
First up is Bucky, and honestly, what can we say? This sweet baby boy is officially the best boy ever! The feeling is entirely mutual, too—he absolutely adores his groomer, Nicole, and she adores him right back. Let’s just say he’s got Nicole wrapped around his little paw; with a face that cute, he could probably get away with absolutely anything!
Molly & Kayla: The Sister Lab/Mastiff Mixes
Next, we had the pleasure of hanging out with Molly and Kayla, a couple of incredibly sweet old gals. These beautiful sisters are dealing with some mobility issues these days, but we always practice #HumanityOverVanity. With a slow pace, plenty of extra encouragement, and a steady stream of loving pats, they got through their grooming session with total ease. It is such an honor to provide a safe, gentle space for our senior sweethearts.
Soby the Wire Fox Terrier
Rounding out our Thursday was Soby! This little lady is also up there in years and can’t quite hear or see as well as she used to, but don’t let that fool you—she is definitely still spunky! Soby has a big personality and is not a fan of the dryer, and she isn’t shy about letting us know exactly how she feels about it. She is truly too cute for her own good!
Groomer’s Note: Whether it’s accommodating achy joints or taking a little extra time to comfort a pup who dislikes the dryer, every single dog gets the tailored, patient care they deserve. Thank you to Bucky, Molly, Kayla, and Soby for making today so incredibly special!
