Every grooming van has that one tiny dog with a big personality — and for us, that’s Darling Delilah, our sweet and spicy little Chihuahua who has come such a long way.

When Delilah first started her spa days with Nicole, she made her feelings very clear. Being picked up was not her favorite thing, and she’d give a quick little snap to let Nicole know she was uncomfortable. Not aggressive. Not mean. Just a tiny girl setting a very clear boundary in the only way she knew how.

And Nicole listened.
Slow hands.
Soft voice.
No rushing.
No pressure.
Just patience, respect, and kindness — every single visit.

And something beautiful happened.

With each groom, Delilah began to relax. Her eyes softened. Her body loosened. Her trust grew. The spicy little nugget who once said “no thank you” now leans gently into Nicole during her spa day, soaking up the calm and comfort she’s learned to expect.

She still has her spark — that classic Chihuahua sass that makes her who she is — but now it’s wrapped in trust, sweetness, and a bond built slowly and lovingly over time.

Today we celebrate Darling Delilah:
The tiny queen with the big feelings.
The girl who learned she was safe.
The spicy nugget who blossomed into a cuddle‑leaning sweetheart.
And the pup who reminds us that patience creates magic.
