Some dogs leave a mark on your heart the moment they arrive—and Wolfie has been one of those dogs from day one. This jet‑black, fluffy, impossibly handsome Shiloh Shepherd has been part of our grooming family for many years, and every visit with him feels like reconnecting with an old soul.
Wolfie originally came to us alongside his brothers, Liam and Tavious—two wonderful boys who have since crossed the rainbow bridge. RIP, sweet boys. Grooming the three of them together used to take the entire day, but those long sessions were filled with stories, bonding, and the kind of quiet companionship that only dogs like them can offer. Getting to know each of them so deeply was a gift, and Wolfie continues to carry that legacy of love and loyalty.
These days, Wolfie comes with his new brother Cayman, and the bond between them is just as special. Our groomer adores them both.
Wolfie is a big, gentle presence—but he definitely has opinions. Especially about his feet. And brushing. He may throw a little fit here and there, but it’s never out of meanness. He just needs a little extra affection, reassurance, and patience, and once he gets that, he settles in and gets through his groom with as much ease as he can muster.
As he’s gotten older, Wolfie has developed some rear‑hip issues, and we honor that by giving him extra breaks, slower pacing, and a gentle, understanding hand. He tells us what he needs, and we listen. That’s what trust looks like.
Wolfie is more than just a handsome dog—he’s a long‑time friend, a loyal companion, and a reminder of how deeply meaningful these grooming relationships can become. Watching him age with grace, strength, and that signature Wolfie charm is something we treasure every single visit.
Here’s to Wolfie—our big, fluffy, jet‑black gentleman who has been part of our story for so many years, and who continues to brighten every day he walks through our door.
