Today was a short and sweet grooming day, and our spotlight belongs entirely to one familiar little gentleman: Scout, our charming Havanese–Bichon mix who has been part of our grooming family for quite some time.

Scout greeted his groomer Nicole with all the enthusiasm in the world—tail wagging, eyes sparkling, body wiggling with joy. He made it abundantly clear that he loves his groomer. The grooming part, however… well, that’s another story.

Once it was time to actually get started, Scout gave Nicole that classic “Do we really have to?” look. He’s a master of dramatic sighs and subtle protests, but with patience, reassurance, and a few strategic pauses, he powered through like the good boy he is.

Despite his reluctance, Scout did wonderfully. His soft coat fluffed up beautifully, his face brightened right up, and by the end he was back to being his cheerful self—ready for snuggles, praise, and probably a well-earned nap.

Short day, big personality, and a whole lot of love.
