Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today was a day of completely different vibes in the mobile salon—from a tiny, spicy diva who needed a clean slate, to a gentle, wise old soul who absolutely melted my heart.
Here are today’s featured pups!
🎀 Lizzy the Shih Tzu
First up on the schedule was Miss Lizzy! This tiny ball of fury was definitely in need of a fresh start today.
Sometimes, these little fluffs anticipate the discomfort of having knots and tangles removed, and they let you know exactly how they feel about it. Lizzy tried to give me a few quick bites to protest the process, but a little patience and a lot of gentle encouragement go a long way! We worked through her spicy moments together, and she made it through her spa day entirely unscathed. She left the van looking fresh, feeling light, and ready to take on the world with her new haircut!
🧸 Otis the Doodle
Next up was our favorite “old man,” Otis! This intelligent guy absolutely adores his groomer, and the feeling is completely mutual. I just adore him to pieces!
Otis is the absolute definition of a perfect gentleman—so incredibly calm, patient, and sweet throughout his entire visit. I also have to give a massive shoutout and props to his wonderful family! They do an amazing job keeping his coat in such beautiful condition between his professional grooming appointments, which makes his spa days a total breeze for him.
