Welcome back to another edition of our daily doggy blog! Today’s lineup in the mobile grooming van brought us a whole lot of fluff, some big puppy-dog eyes, a mountain of brushed-out fur, and even a little bravery during a summer storm. Let’s dive into today’s furry friends!
🐶 Rip & Cooper: The Dashing Doodles
First up, we had the sweetest fluffy brothers: Rip (and yes, that is just his awesome name—he is very much alive and thriving!) and Cooper.
These doodle boys are absolute sweethearts. Rip has the most adorable, squishable fluffy face you’ve ever seen, while Cooper knows exactly how to work his massive brown eyes to his advantage. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to toss an endless supply of treats to these two?
💡 Grooming Tip of the Day: Let’s Talk About Paraphimosis Today brought a very important, if slightly awkward, educational moment! Sometimes, our boy dogs can get their penis stuck outside their sheath and need a little assistance getting things back into place.
- How to prevent this: Be sure to keep the fur around that specific area closely trimmed or shaved. If hair bundles up, it can trap things where they shouldn’t be! Keeping it clean and clear is the best way to prevent a surprise (and uncomfortable) trip to the vet.
🐻 Mr. Bear: The Pomeranian Cloud
Next on the table was Mr. Bear, and he certainly lives up to his name! This Pomeranian was an absolute unit of fluff when he walked in.
Huge shoutout to Nicole, who worked some serious magic today. After a thorough brushing and de-shedding session, she managed to brush out a fluff ball that was almost as big as Bear himself! He left the van looking sharp, feeling light as a feather, and ready to strut his stuff.
🌙 Luna: The Brave Little Lady
Lastly, we had little Luna, a lovely doodle who came in for her spa day.
Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided to crash the party. Luna was understandably very unsure about the rain, let alone the loud thunder booming outside the van. It can be super scary for pups when they are away from their living rooms during a storm!
However, with a few brave little tail wags, lots of sweet talk, and some gentle encouragement, this little lady pushed through her fears and handled her grooming session just fine. We are so proud of her!
