Welcome back to the Vroom Grooms LLC blog! Today was a one-dog kind of day, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the week. Sometimes the route gives you a full van of pups, and sometimes it gives you one brand-new friend to spoil. Today belonged to Daryl, and I am so excited to introduce him.
Welcome to the Pack, Daryl!
Daryl is a Golden Retriever mix, and he is brand new to the Vroom Grooms pack. Just look at that face! That big happy smile in the van is exactly the welcome I love to see from a new client, and I have a feeling he is going to fit right in around here.
Now, can we talk about this coat? Daryl has one of the most interesting coats I have seen in a while. Along his back and partway down his sides, the hair lies flat and smooth. Then, everywhere else, it fluffs right up. It is like two coats in one, and it is a perfect reminder that mixed breeds always keep you guessing. Whatever his recipe is, it came out handsome.
And here is my favorite detail: Daryl has a tiny black freckle on his tongue. Little spots like that can be a clue that another breed is tucked into the family tree. Chow Chow is the classic guess when a tongue shows dark freckles, but only Daryl knows his full story. Either way, I think it makes his smile even better. Does your dog have any surprise markings like that?
He finished his groom looking sharp and is already rocking his tie-dye bandana like he knows he is the star of the day. Welcome to the pack, Daryl! We are so glad you are here.
One dog, one brand-new face, and one great day. That is the good stuff right there, and I cannot wait to see who wags their way into the van next.
