Two dogs today, and they are brother and sister. Same haircut, completely different dogs. I said it on the stream and I will say it here: Millie is the tornado and Winston is the earthquake.

Millie the Tornado
Millie arrived at a full sprint and never really stopped. She spins in circles when she is excited, round and round and round, which is exactly how she earned the name. I announced her as Millie the Tornado on the stream and I stand by it.
She is a doodle of some sort, and she came in as a very dirty puppy. Her clean puppy warranty had expired and needed renewing, so we started there. The tangles got worked out in the bathtub before any clippers came out, then she got a half inch shoe, her ears tucked back in where they belong, and a tidy up around that little face.
Every groom, she gives a performance. Twists, turns, kisses, and silly face rubs, with that tail going the entire time. She nearly took me out with it. But there was only one dog in the running for the Cute Oscar today, and she won it easily.

Winston the Earthquake
Millie and Winston live in the same house, so when Millie was finished I swapped her out for her brother. Winston is the sweetest little man, and he is shy. He hung back at first, which only made him cuter.
He has a thin coat, so he gets a half inch all over, head included. Sanitary trim, nails ground, ears sorted. He made it very clear he did not care for the nail grinder at first, but he got through it like a gentleman.
He is a handsome noodle boy, and he knows it. At the end, when I brought the greenies out, he stuck his whole nose down in the bag like the entire supply belonged to him. Millie did not get one. He was not sharing, and he wanted everybody to understand that.

Until next time, my furry friends!
